i'm barack obama, and i approve this message. mitt romney's position on women's health...it's dangerous. vo:mitt romney and paul ryan would get rid of planned parenthood funding. and allow employers to deny coverage for cancer screenings and birth control. we can't afford to let him take away our choices... to take away basic health care. vo: both backed proposals to outlaw abortions...even in cases of rape and incest. i don't think that women's health issues have faced a crisis like this in decades.

thank you for joining us live, thanks for joining us. they had been nominated vice president. and to hear behind us. all right, very nice. the most interesting assessment that we have heard so far last night is that he made the case of president obama, better than president o obama. would you agree with that? is it a good or bad thing? >> i guess that kind of makes my point, since clinton did so well, how could they top that tonight? what is left for them at 6?
7:17 pm
>> well look, i think that he will lay out his vision for america's future. but the remedies he has brought forward, the right remedies, now we'll move forward, telling us specifically how we're going to do that. whether they want them to go go back to the failed republicans. it says during the negotiations, and i quote now that it will be a fact that he was handed a miserable faltering economy, facing the thes for the opposition, but the presidents who worked there, they will on the important matters of the national business. that obama has not. end of quote. do they need to explain how he will be able to do things differently the next time around? i mean he cannot say that i'm hoping they will be nicer to me? >> well, i understand, you

know, we were losing those jobs a month. we are now creating jobs, 29 consecutive months. not enough though moving in the right direction. and we have general motors and the u.s. awe moe manufacturing. now doing great. it is really clear that they made it a part of the partisan payouts, so that barack obama could not succeed rather than putting our nation's interest first. so yes, he has not had a tough time to deal with, but he also had an opposition that was not interested in working with them. in fact, they wanted to see if that opposition would still be around. he had to come up with a way to get that opposition, or at least explain to them how they would need to do it, right? >> well, i mean he has.
7:19 pm
he has moved this country in the right direction. couldn't we have made more progress? well as he said, no president could have brought this country to where we wanted to be in the short time for years. considering the damage that was done. but what this president has done is move us clearly in the right direction that we're creating jobs, we are doing it in the right way, investing in our children. and yet we have to work with the republicans. and some will not work with us as we need to find a way to move on forward. we need to put the nation's business first. >> and senator biden. i would like to thank you for your time tonight. we appreciate it. >> yes. >> enjoy the speech. >> good to be with you. >> all right, bye. let's get to the weather forecast. we know that they made the speech move on inside. so what is going to happen this weekend? are we going to have to move inside? >> do you want some irony? they could probably have the details, but they don't want to take a chance. we could look at a strong cold front to move through on saturday. we'll start with what is going on right now. a live look outside that is

the democratic national convention has been nominating the speech. robin from warrenton, virginia is a fan. and i think that the former president hit a home run with his speech last night. as always, he hit the target on all the policies. the only thing that he did not mention is the non-cooperation that president obama's gotten from the republicans in the congress and senate. and also, president clinton did not mention about ryan running faster than he did. who was he trying to impress with that one? actually, he mentioned the non- cooperation factor in what he called the patriot of president

obama by some on the other side. as for paul ryan's marathon time, which is what you're talking about there, he said he ran one in under three hours and apparently the time was more than four hours. he says it was a long time ago and he simply forgot. it's a little tough to believe since the three-hour marathon time is pretty elite and well, you're not likely to forget that you could do such a thing. however, i'll take him at his word when he says he has forgotten. and then this on the whole other subject from bob in silver springs. and the advertising materials for the inappropriate content as well as news stories. and the ad and as a result of being t in the groin is completely rep prehencable. i'm glad i no longer have kids who want an explanation on what has taken place and why. really, bob? it is just a commercial. they are trying to be funny with a low brow gag, but come
